Scholarships

In line with our mission to provide access to world-class education to our students students, President accepts a range of scholarships and awards to deserving applicants.

Each year the President College provides a comprehensive range of scholarship opportunities for new and current students, from industry and President’s sponsored professional scholarships to tuition fee, accommodation and financial hardship scholarships.

• Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)

PTPTN loan is open to all diploma and degree full time students with a minimum of three (3) credits in SPM.

  • Maximum loan approved for a 2years ½ Diploma programme is RM 17,000
• Employees Provident Fund (EPF)

EPF withdrawal can be made on a yearly basis.

  • EPF withdrawal can also be used to reimburse fees which have been paid to the mentioned Institute.
  • EPF withdrawal can also be used to settle study loans from loan sponsoring bodies.
• Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)

Below is a list of Mara Loan eligibility criteria. Minimum 5 credits in SPM are required, including:

  • Bahasa Melayu
  • Mathematics/Add Maths.
  • Science/Physic/Chemistry/Biology/Technical Subject (for Engineering and Information & Communications Technology programme only)
  • 2 other subjects.
  • Pass English & History.
  • Bumiputera, Malaysian citizen: Definition of Bumiputera – If one of the parents is a Malay and practicing Islam or Bumiputera (aborigines/indigenous for Sabah & Sarawak) therefore his/her children are Bumiputeras.
  • Programme duration must be more than 1 year (Degree Level 3 student are not eligible to apply)
  • Registered and started the intake.
  • Loan is not provided for Foundation Programme.
  • Loan is only available for FULL TIME Diploma & Degree programmes that are approved by MARA.
  • Loan is available for FULL TIME & PART TIME Master & Phd programmes that are approved by MARA.
  • Family income must not exceed RM10,000 per month or RM120,000 per year.
• High Achiever’s Scholarship (HAS)
  • Malaysian citizen, aged below 25 years.
  • High academic achievement(s).
  • Active in extracurricular activities.
  • Recommendation by the school principal or headmaster would be advantageous.
• Centre of excellence(CoE) Scholarship
  • Malaysian citizen, aged below 25 years.
  • High academic achievement(s).
  • Active in extracurricular activities.
  • For full scholarship:
    • SPM : 10As and above
    • STPM / GCE A­Level : 4As
    • UEC : 10As and above
  • Applicant is required to meet a minimum CGPA of 3.50 every semester to continue the scholarship.

General Requirements:
1. Must be a Malaysian.
2. Possess relevant high school result; SPM / UEC / STPM / A­Level / Diploma of relevant field (or equivalent).
